hotel location is just outside of the "tourist area", but fine for us, as we wanted a more quiet location. hotel had easy access to metro, buses, taxis. hotel was updated, clean, and staff service was good. breakfast included was a plus.

Top Tip:
take day trip to sintra and cascais are highly recommended. fatima & obidos tour guided trip was good and was glad we did not attempt to go on our own as it's easier with tour guide and would not have wanted to spend 2 days (instead of 1) in either location. fatima is very religious oriented and obidos a little touristy in the medieval theming. recommend doing lisbon by neighborhoods and eating as locally as possible to get the best meals. metro is easy to navigate with their efficient and modernized system.
