The staff were generally very helpful and spoke good English. It was disappointing that the rooms had no tea/coffee making facilities. The breakfast was adequate - the best bit was the fresh fruit. The hotel was a good price. It is not within walking distance of the old town and the restaurants and lively bars, if you are looking for that kind of holiday. The location next to the park is nice, however, and relatively quiet.
Top Tip
If you have transport, visit Caiscais, which we thought was far nicer than Lisbon, and the nearby coast which is beautiful. It is about 20km away.

The bar closed at midnight which seemed a little early to us.
Top Tip
The streets around the hotel are very steep so bring flat shoes. The park opposite gives a feeling of space in a busy city.
