Nice bar and evening restaurant. Good breakfast. About 20-30 minutes walk from centre but metro station and aerobus stops nearby.

Metro about 5 min walk; taxis almost every few minutes very reasonably priced; tour buses
and tourist information office at Pombal end of Park -5 minutes walk from hotel.
Staff very efficient and friendly, decor a little tired.
Top Tip
Rua des Portas Sao Antao for great choice of restaurants. Bonjardim if you like spit roast chicken (+/- piri-pir) excellent value.

Staff did their job well but made it obvious that speaking English was not their thing - they said the absolute minimum required. All had very dour expressions also..
Twin room was a bit musty and small - too small even taking into account the good price of €180 for 3 nights for 2 people. Breakfast facillities were good and good value.
Top Tip
The shop/restaurant 2 doors down was a bit fo a rip-off, €4.90 for 2 bottles of Powerade and approx €1.50 for 500ml water - not the norm in Lisbon at all which is otherwise better value.

Stayed 6 years ago and this stay just as good.
Have not eaten in restaurant, except breakfast which was fine, so cannot comment on food.
Very handy for local transport.
Top Tip
Plenty of restaurants in Rua Portas da S. Antao about 10-15 mins stroll. Also try little bar/cafe/rest. just round corner for cheap, quick meal.

Good value for a location so handy for central Lisbon. Nothing fancy, but all basic necessities are well covered.
Top Tip
3 minutes walk to the nearest station on Lisbon's exquisite Metro.

Fantastic value for money.
Top Tip
Be prepared to walk and take good shoes. Do not get a taxi from airport, book one first, there a rip off!
