Hotel out of main area, but is walkable to both Marques de Plombal and Rato metro stations. A few good restaurants nearby. Staff very helpful. Hotel decor a bit dated but clean. Lisbon has excellent transport facilities.
Top Tip
Do not bother buying the Lisbon Card unless you are a great fan of museums. Euros 15 per day. A travel card is well worth getting you can then hop on and off trams, buses and elevators.
Eating in the main shopping areas is expensive and they try hard to lure you in but the service and food are poor. Try further afield and you will find some excellent restaurants and at good prices

Tired decor & only 1 broken chair on balcony lowered the scoring but bed comfortable and views from 7th floor room great. Breakfast fresh fruit was excellent.
Top Tip
758 bus takes you from centre to Rato and short uphill walk from there to hotel. Several local restaurants all with interesting menus but open odd times.

Very noisy with teenagers staying in the hotel. Very good value for money. Very helpful and pleasant staff.
Top Tip
Some large shops closed on a Saturday.

Hotel further out from centre than anticipated causing some problems in walking back and for. Found the nearest bus stop but it was sometimes still tiring after a day of walking in the city.
Top Tip
Quite a few snack bars around but were put off by lack of welome in a ouple of places. Very good Nepalese Restaurant close (100 metres) to the hotel. Visitors should be advised that Lisbon is built on many hills.
Reommend Pomona restaurant in the centre near Praca do Commercial.
