I wish to advise that we were upgraded to the Jardims' sister hotel next door - The Tivoli - on our arrival due to current guests extending their stay. Extremely central location within reach of many restaurants.

Do Not make any International calls from you room. I was ripped off. Charged 80 Euro
for a 20 min phone call home.

Perfectly situated, just a short walk from town centre.
Our room was spotlessly clean and 'roomy'.Buffet style breakfast very good.
Top Tip
First visit the Tourist information office located in the centre of town. Would suggest bus tour of town and experience the public tram system.

We had booked Tivoli Jardim, but on arrival were upgraded at no extra cost to their adjoined sister hotel the Tivoli Lisboa.Lovely stay in Lisbon. Hotel away from more touristy area (which is about 10 mins away) which was not as nice.
Hotel doorman recommended lovely family-run restaurant. Only drawback was cold outdoor pool -although my 9-year old son still went in.
Breakfast great. Service great.
Top Tip
Plenty of local restaurants - avoid touristy area e.g. Hard Rock Cafe. Belem, Oceanarium, Castle v. good. Definitely do the full run of the Tram 28-goes through lots of Lisbon.

Excellent staff, wonderful breakfasts, pleasant room, spoilt by noisy air conditioning units outside the window.
Top Tip
Almost without exception the cafes and restaurants offered excellent value.

The Lisboa Live travel card is a must - a life saver and very inexpensive.
Chicken is very hard to find in most restaurants for some stranger reason!!
