The Aviz Hotel is a contemporary property built in a traditional style. It contains 70 guestrooms: 17 doubles, 28 premium singles, 11 standard singles and 14 signature suites. These last have been named after the personalities who stayed in the original Aviz Hotel (upon which this one is modelled): Frank Sinatra, Ava Gardner, Maria Callas, Marcello Mastroianni, amongst others. The guestrooms are decorated in a modern style, enhanced by traditional Portuguese influences. The hotel’s Restaurante Aviz serves regional dishes, complemented by Christofle tableware, Vista Alegre plates and a well-stocked wine cellar. There’s also Bar Aviz, where a wide range of drinks is on offer in, once again, a traditional, Portuguese-style setting.
