Our Review

The Solar Do Castelo hotel is a great little gem tucked away within the walls of the São Jorge Castle. The hotel is very small with only 14 bedrooms giving it an exclusive feel. Due to the age of the building, the hotel has a wonderful sense of history. However this is contrasted with fantastic contemporary fixtures and fittings. The hotel's inner courtyard and garden are not to be missed. Overall, a great romantic hideaway.
