Recently renovated to preserve the historical authenticity of its building, the Lisboa Tejo Hotel is a stylish boutique property. The first feature to catch the eye is an ancient well, which is well integrated and source of inspiration for newly arrived visitors. Elsewhere, the lobby also features mosaic tiles, while soothing fado music drifts through the air. The 58 medium sized guestrooms are all designed in a vaguely nautical style, with lots of soothing blue-toned décor. Despite being situated below ground level, the hotel’s breakfast room, with its exposed stone walls, is light and airy. Overall a good standard of hotel in a much sought after location in Lisbon.
