I found the staff not entirely agreeable. In the dining room and at reception. The cleaners were lovely. There was one man at reception who was most agreeable. He was working at reception on Sunday 29 March. He explained the reason for the Commemoration Ceremony which took place by the river. I was not happy with the attitude of an African looking man. The view from the Dining room was blocked by a stone wall.
Top Tip
Walking to Foz and back along the river. Discovering the shops behind the houses there. There was so much we did not see there.

Good pool and sunbeds: useful for relaxation after sightseeing.
Top Tip
Some way from city centre and metro quite difficult to find but once found very convenient and cheap. Taxis also available.
Plenty to see in Lisbon. Go to Alfama district for Fado music and meal.

Had stayed there 6 years ago and it was as good as I remembered. Staff are very friendly and efficient. Nice pool. It is a little out of centre of town but there are always taxi's waiting at the hotel to take you where you want and they are cheap.

Location: good for airport but a mile or so out of city centre. Enjoyed the hotel; would certainly stay again.
Top Tip
Lisbon is a good city to visit. Belem is the best tourist area, although the area around the castle and cathedral was excellent. Gulbenkien museum was first rate and certainly worth a visit.

Good room. Front desk & concierge helpful and efficient.
Restaurant poor - dinner inedible, breakfast not easy to navigate, service very mediocre.
Reasonably good value for money for Portugal.
Would recommend hotel but not restaurant
Top Tip
Find somewhere else to eat! Good location for our needs as we wanted to be fairly close to the airport for an earlish flight in the morning. Still close enough to the city centre - 7euro taxi ride
